The Ajax DoorBell is a smart video doorbell that combines advanced security features with seamless integration into the Ajax ecosystem. Equipped with a 4 MP HDR camera offering a 155° horizontal and 90° vertical field of view, it ensures clear, wide-angle footage day and night, thanks to smart IR illumination up to 6 meters. Built-in AI enables precise object recognition, distinguishing between people, animals, and vehicles, while a PIR sensor detects motion within a 13-foot range.
Two-way audio with noise suppression and echo cancellation facilitates clear communication with visitors. The DoorBell connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with a range up to 1,600 feet in line of sight and offers a backup connection through Ajax's Jeweller and Wings protocols when paired with a hub.
Designed with security and privacy in mind, the DoorBell features tamper detection and stores recordings on an Ajax NVR or the upcoming Ajax Cloud Storage, eliminating internal storage vulnerabilities. Each exported video includes a digital signature to verify authenticity.
The device supports ONVIF and RTSP protocols for integration with third-party systems. Power is supplied via 12–24 V DC or 16–24 V AC, with a built-in 600 mAh battery providing short-term backup and automatic heating in cold climates. Installation is straightforward, with included wedge brackets for flexible mounting angles, and management is accessible through Ajax mobile and desktop applications.
